Doctrine of Faith and Love in Action Ministries

Foundational Scripture
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” — 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a (NIV)

Mission Statement

This non-denominational religious organization  purpose it to embody and share the transformative power of God’s love through service, humility, and compassion, reaching hearts and lives with the unchanging truth of Scripture.

Core Principles of Love in Action Ministries

  1. Patience We commit to being patient with one another, understanding that spiritual growth and transformation take time. As God is patient with us, we will extend grace to others without frustration or haste.

  2. Kindness We will intentionally show kindness in our words, actions, and interactions, reflecting the heart of Christ in all that we do. Kindness will be a hallmark of our ministry as we serve others selflessly.

  3. Humility We reject envy, pride, and boasting. Instead, we seek to honor others above ourselves, acknowledging that all gifts and abilities come from God and are to be used for His glory.

  4. Respect and Honor Love does not dishonor others. In every relationship and interaction, we will strive to uplift, respect, and protect the dignity of every individual, recognizing them as God’s creation.

  5. Selflessness We prioritize the needs of others above our own, rejecting selfishness and self-centeredness. Our service will be driven by a heart that seeks to bless rather than be blessed.

  6. Forgiveness Love keeps no record of wrongs. We are committed to practicing forgiveness, freeing ourselves and others from the chains of bitterness and resentment. Through forgiveness, we reflect the redemptive work of Christ.

  7. Truth and Righteousness We will not delight in evil but will rejoice in the truth. Our ministry stands firmly on the Word of God, promoting righteousness, justice, and integrity in all we do.

  8. Protection and Trust Love always protects and trusts. We seek to create an environment of safety and support, fostering trust and accountability within our ministry and communities.

  9. Hope and Perseverance Love always hopes and perseveres. We will remain steadfast in our faith and commitment, trusting that God’s promises are true and that His love never fails. In the face of challenges, we will not give up but will continue to serve faithfully.

  10. Eternal Love Love never fails. God’s love is eternal and unfailing, and so our ministry will seek to reflect this enduring love, striving to share it with the world through every act, word, and prayer.

Our Commitments

  • To God: We commit to loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, seeking His will in every aspect of our ministry.

  • To Others: We commit to loving our neighbors as ourselves, serving them with humility, compassion, and generosity.

  • To Truth: We commit to standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word, allowing it to guide our ministry and daily lives.

  • To Perseverance: We commit to enduring in love, no matter the challenges we face, trusting in God’s faithfulness to see us through.

Conclusion

Love in Action Ministries is built upon the enduring and unfailing love of God, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. We aim to be a living testimony of this love, showing the world what it means to love as Christ loves. Through patience, kindness, humility, forgiveness, and truth, we will serve as His hands and feet, bringing the light of His love into a world in need.
